Employee Diversity Dashboard

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Employee Diversity Dashboard provides access to faculty and staff diversity data and trends from 2015 to the present.

This dashboard includes breakdowns by race/ethnicity, gender, employee type and sub-type, and faculty tenure status. Race/ethnicity and gender data are based on voluntary self-identification by individual employees.

Applicant Diversity

Demographic data about individuals applying for employment with the university is available to authorized users. Please contact us at accessandequity@illinois.edu to access the following reports and summaries:

All demographic data (including race/ethnicity, gender, disability, and veteran status) is provided by the applicant voluntarily, and they may freely elect to not self-identify. Individually-identifiable demographic data should not be shared with individuals who will make or influence hiring decisions. All usage and sharing of this data must be consistent with applicable law and campus policy. Hiring decisions must be based on candidates’ job qualifications. Discrimination or disparate treatment of individuals on the basis of any protected classification is prohibited under university policy and applicable law.
