People applying for a job with the University of Illinois can now request reasonable accommodations using the same portal as current employees. This includes applicants across all employment categories, and it covers testing accommodations as well as accommodations to participate in interviews or in other aspects of the employment application process.

Individuals can navigate to our accommodation portal ( and select “applicant for employment” in the Employment Status drop down menu.

Ensuring that all job applicants have full access to the accommodations they are legally entitled to is an important component of our inclusive recruitment practices. An applicant’s disability information will not be shared with search committees and shall not be used as a basis for a hiring decision.
